Social Butterfly Sunday #40

Hi, friends! Welcome to Week 40 of Social Butterfly Sunday! Last week, was our biggest week with 75 posts! Thank you all so much for everything you do! It is such a blessing to see this community continue to grow.  Please don't forget to visit at least one other blogger or post.  Many have been linking and leaving, and this is unfair to the blogger who linked up before you.  I appreciate all of you who have shared the Social Butterfly Sunday button or link on your blogs.

I am doing 2 Featured Posts, this week because there were so many that linked up.  The first post really inspired me to write about what is going on with me in my life right now.  I am busy still commenting, pinning, and have missed several of your amazing link up parties over the last few weeks, and I wanted to explain why. My husband hurt his shoulder and we discovered last week, that he is going to need surgery to fix it.  We have had many doctor appointments to get everything scheduled for him, and he is looking at an 8 week recovery and short term disability once the surgery is complete.  He is also working on his degree on our one computer where I blog and the boys do some of their homeschool lessons, so there have been times that have been challenging. In the midst of all of this, I remain thankful and know that God is ever present in our lives.

  2. I love this new (for me) community link up! Thanks so much for your faithful hosting! And, imagine my surprise when I came to link up today - thank you for featuring my post! I'm honored, and always blessed when something God lays on my heart speaks to others!

And might I just encourage you about your husband's shoulder? My husband had rather extensive shoulder surgery a few years ago. And he recovered very well. If I have any advice, tell him to be diligent about the physical therapy afterwards. I'm convinced my hubby's dedication to that, even though it was slow and painful, was key to a complete recovery. It relieved so much pre-surgery pain and lack of movement, and it was like he had a new shoulder. So, prayers and positive thoughts. I'm sure it will go well!!

    GOD BLESS!
