Hi, friends! Happy Valentine's Day!  It has been super busy around my house the last two weeks as my Mom came in to visit, and we are celebrating both my husband's birthday and Valentine's Day today with family.  If I didn't get a chance to comment on your post from last week, I will be catching up on that this week! Thank you all so much for stopping by to link up here each week.  This community is really starting to grow and I am so thankful for all of you!  Hope you all have an outstanding week :)

We went to a new library this week that was close to where my Mom likes to get her hair done.  While we waited for her, we had the pleasure of exploring a new place and also diving into our first lesson of Christian Kids Explore Earth & Space.  My oldest, pictured above had such a blast with this lesson and is excited to start the next one this week.  It's hard to believe we are getting to that point in the year, where we start to think about what homeschool curriculum we want to use for next year.  This is a wonderful science curriculum, as it is from a Christian viewpoint.  I find many science books and curriculum I don't agree with some of the topics discussed because of my faith.  I don't have this problem with this curriculum, so if you are a homeschool parent I hope you get a chance to check this out at Bright Ideas Press.

Blessings,

Kelly

  1. Hey Kelly,
I agree. I can't believe how fast this school year is going by. I can't believe that I am incredibly close to having a fourth-grader. Wishing you and your family a happy Valentines Day!

Online betting has become popular these days as it is a convenient way to place your bets, enjoy your favorite game, and make extra cash. It is indeed extra fun and exciting to place a bet on a game, as it will make the game more exciting to watch and the game results more thrilling.

  9. This is my first time to linkup here, my friend. I didn't know about your link until today and am so glad I found it. Sounds like you've got a lot on your plate, but are managing it all very well. I always applaud godly parents who make homeschooling their choice. I did it with my oldest for a brief time and found it so challenging. Of course, that was back in the day when there were fewer homeschooling resources and networks. Perhaps now it would have worked for me, but kudos to you for choosing curriculum wisely and making that important choice to teach your kids at home!

    1. Welcome, Beth! I am so glad you found the linkup! Thank you for your kind comment. There is so much with homeschooling nowadays that it is hard to pin down exactly what you want to teach your children. I applaud you for trying with your oldest. My aunt told me she wanted to homeschool my cousins back in the day, but like you said there was not enough resources or support. It definitely has its challenging days, but I praise God for giving me the strength and the calling He has placed in my heart. Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you link up again next week. Blessings :)

But, I always enjoy stopping over on Mondays!

    1. Hi, Melanie! I am so glad you make it here on Mondays! Sundays can be crazy for us also so I try to start the party later in the afternoon, so it won't interfere with church or lunch. Blessings and prayers for you and your family in the ministry. Thanks for leaving a comment and hope you and your family have an amazing week as well :)
