Some Inspiriational Notes for Myself

I have been looking for a piece of scripture or passage that will speak to me directly or really hit me in a certain way and today, while looking at some Homeschool things for the boys I found it.  I love all of the scripture that I hear and read.  I grew up in a faith based home but we never went into scripture so this is an area I need work on.  My oldest is in Awanas and I learn through his weekly classes, new scripture! :)

Proverbs 3:5-6 says, “Trust in the Lord.”

My husband just walked in from work and said that it is called a "soul verse." So yes, this is me!  Whenever I get down and don't know where to turn or when I am up and praise His name, I trust in the Lord so this spoke volumes to me!  I also saw this sentence from:
*Adapted from Chapter 2, “Say No to EGO,” in the book Lead Your Family Like Jesus: Powerful Parenting Principles from the Creator of Families by Ken Blanchard, Phil Hodges, and Tricia Goyer.

When your success depends on your relationship with Christ and the level of control you let Him have, you have no need for pride of fear.

Great line and reminder for life!

April Fun Events!

We took G to Disney for his 2nd birthday.  Here the boys are posing with an army guy from Toy Story at Hollywood Studios.

Mike and Sulley from Monster's Inc.

The best part of the day: Meeting Wreck it Ralph and Vanellope!  The boys jaws hit the ground and they couldn't move when they saw the characters!  It was as if they had just popped out of the TV!  It was so cool to see their faces!

Farmer B picking blueberries!  Or as he calls himself, "Old McB has a Farm!"

My beautiful Momma showing off our blueberry picking skills!

G had a blast sitting there in the stroller "helping" pick blueberries!  I think he ate more than he picked haha!

The boys picked massive blueberries!

B holding Gamma and Poppy's hands in the blueberry fields.

We went to the Ringling Art Museum in Sarasota with Gamma and Poppy.  This is B with a bull statue outside the museum.  He named the bull, Ferdinand!  He loves that book!

Gamma and Poppy with the boys in the beautiful gardens at the museum.

Momma and the boys at the museum.

Gorgeous property!
We got to spend some days at the beach with Gamma and Poppy!  More pictures to come!

My handsome boys at Nature's Classroom.  We got to go there for their annual weekend that they are open to the public.  The boys got to get passports and each place got to stamp the animal they saw in their passport book.  We did a scavenger hunt and got to see a lot of awesome animals and lots of green lush nature!

April Birthdays :)

My Mom was in town and we have been so busy having fun that we haven't had time to post so going to post some picturess of the things we have done :)

Our youngest turned 2 years old this month!  Grandma brought over some very special Cookie Monster cupcakes and we had some pizza!  Happy Birthday G Man!  We love you!

 "The Twins"
This is our nephew and our oldest.  They are exactly 2 months and 1 minute apart so we affectionately call them the twins.  My nephew will be 4 tomorrow and then B will be 4 in July.  This was a great picture showing how much they love each other!

This is one of our beautiful nieces!  She is getting so big!  6 years old next month!

Grandpa getting love from the boys at G's party!
This is another of our beautiful nieces that turned 1 in April!  We were not able to make it up to her party because my brother and family live out of state but they are coming down here in May so the boys will get a chance to meet her for the first time!
